Building on the water in Cocoa Beach
Most Cocoa Beach waterfront homes back onto canals that open to the Banana River. Many of the seawalls along those canals were built decades ago, and a lot of the work we see is replacing a wall that has reached the end of its life and rebuilding the dock and lift along with it.

Permits in Cocoa Beach
Waterfront construction here needs a building permit, and depending on the property the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers may be involved as well. We prepare the drawings and handle the applications as part of the job.
